Do I need planning permission for my timber building?

Planning requirements can be complex and we always recommend speaking with your local authority planning office or a planning consultant. However, some of the basic principles can be found in our guide to planning here.

Do I need a foundation for my timber building?

All timber buildings should be raised off the ground, even our mobile field shelters and stables sit on skids. Our static timber buildings need to be built upon a concrete pad and a single course of bricks. See our guide to groundworks here. We don't undertake the groundworks ourselves, but we can recommend a professional contractor to complete them for you.

What types of roofing do you offer?

We offer any range of roofing materials for you to choose between. See more about our roofing options here.

What quality of timber do you use?

We use sustainably sourced timber from FSC certified sawmills and suppliers. All external softwood timber is pressure treated to preserve the timber. See more about our timber here.

Do you guarantee your buildings?

We offer a five-year workmanship guarantee on all our buildings. This guarantee doesn't include materials, timber, parts, fixtures or fittings. See more about our workmanship guarantee here.

Is delivery and installation included?

Installation is always included, unless you choose a DIY option. Delivery is free within Kent, and whilst we deliver and install nationwide, we calculate the delivery cost based upon your location. We would be happy to let you know how much delivery is, just get in touch.

Do you cover the whole of the UK?

Yes, we cover the whole of the UK, offering nationwide delivery and installation.
